Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Category Merchant at our corporate office to develop assortment, execute the merchandising strategy, and drive plans for Dollar Tree stores. You will influence category strategy, ensure alignment with corporate objectives, and manage product selection across banners, channels, and departments.

You will lead weekly business reviews, mentor the merchandising team, identify improvement initiatives, and negotiate with suppliers to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ Buyer experience with a large retailer.
• Retail/discount merchandising experience.
• Merchandise planning, assortment planning and category management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop the category strategy and product management aligned with corporate objectives.
• Define assortment and select products for banners, channels and departments to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Global Sourcing to identify suppliers and negotiate costs for assigned responsibilities.
• Conduct Weekly Business Reviews and assist in Monthly P&L discussions.
