Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a senior category sourcing professional to establish strategies and lead cross-functional sourcing programs in Arlington, VA or Houston, TX. You will negotiate contracts, optimize total cost of ownership, and drive supplier performance.

Travel up to 20% domestically, partner with internal customers, and deliver measurable value aligned with business goals. Excellent collaboration and strategic thinking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional strategic sourcing projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize cost of ownership.
• Manage category suppliers to identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider and inform stakeholders of opportunities.
• Drive supplier relationship management to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers on business applications of the category.
• Negotiate and implement supplier agreements with cross-functional teams.
• Help develop long-term department strategies and influence project delivery standards.
• Develop value engineering procurement mechanisms for assets.
