Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Category Manager to strategically source products and services for North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Procurement on the Global Health & Safety Procurement team. You will lead cross-functional sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings while collaborating with multiple teams and key suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing projects, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to optimize Amazon’s competitive position.
• Drive relationships with category suppliers to meet business goals and cost targets.
• Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Drive Supplier Relationship Management to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category.
• Negotiate and implement supplier agreements/contracts with cross-functional teams.
• Help develop long-term department strategies and influence project development and standards.
• Develop value engineering procurement mechanism to reuse or recapitalize assets.
• Travel domestically 10-20% of the time.
