Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a procurement leader to drive enterprise-wide strategic sourcing and supplier management. You will partner with directors to set category strategy, manage RFx processes, and align procurement with business goals.

The role is hybrid, based in Pittsburgh, with three onsite days weekly (T, W, Th) and responsibilities spanning spend analysis, governance, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or four years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a procurement role with supplier management.
• At least 1 year in strategic sourcing and spend analysis.
• Experience supporting business leads with procurement services and negotiations.
• Certifications CPSM or CPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and implementation of sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories.
• Plan, schedule and monitor category sourcing initiatives with on-time delivery.
• Partner with business unit leaders to provide procurement expertise and strategic partnering.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to optimize value.
• Conduct category spend analyses, supplier assessment, and market research.
