Job summary

Continental Services is seeking a Category Manager in Sterling Heights to lead category strategy across vending, micro-markets, and office coffee services. You will define assortments, pricing, and promotions while leveraging insights to optimize sales and margins.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage lifecycle, planograms, and supplier partnerships, ensuring programs meet performance targets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, merchandising, and pricing.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop category plans for vending, micro-markets, and adjacent channels.
• Define category roles, customer needs, growth priorities, and financial objectives.
• Lead new item introductions, tests, substitutions, and lifecycle decisions.
• Coordinate product transitions with Merchandising, Operations, Procurement, suppliers, and other teams.
• Prepare executive-ready business reviews showing performance, risks, and opportunities.
