Job summary

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals seeks a Category Manager for Direct Materials and Site Services Sourcing to define and execute procurement strategies for APIs, excipients, packaging components, and site services across the U.S. manufacturing network, focusing on continuity and value.

You will use SAP and Coupa, lead supplier negotiations, drive cost reductions, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with Legal to finalize contracts while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high level of interpersonal, communication, analytic and financial skills.
• Competency in project management to drive a fact-based approach to deliver on commitments.
• Knowledge of leading-edge procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Coupa) and category management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies aligned to manufacturing needs.
• Lead business continuity planning including dual sourcing and disruption response.
• Collaborate with Legal to develop contracts and agreements for supply of standard products and services.
• Oversee contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to maximize value.
