Job summary

L3Harris’ Corporate Headquarters in Melbourne, FL seeks a Lead, Category Management to drive category strategy and strategic sourcing. You will lead supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and work with executive management to achieve cost reduction and availability targets for a $500M–$1B spend.

Reporting to the Director of Category Management, you will guide multi-year sourcing strategies and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver best value and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of data engineering experience or Graduate Degree with 7 years of data engineering experience.
• Alternatively no degree but 13+ years of experience in Category Management and Strategic Sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Own building, managing and executing the category strategy for Electronic OEMs and distributors.
• Partner with internal customers to align category objectives and requirements.
• Set procurement targets and monitor performance across the enterprise.
• Develop market insights, analyze data and forecast trends to reduce costs.
