John A. Logan College is seeking a Coordinator of Career Readiness to support internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning.

The role applies professional judgment to assist students and employer partners, coordinating activities and ensuring effective career services delivery. Responsibilities include managing records, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliant, timely program operations across systems and formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Two to four years of experience coordinating career readiness, workforce development, or student services.
• Preferred: higher education/workforce org experience; employer engagement; ERP or SIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of student participation, program requirements, and employer partnerships.
• Communicate with students, faculty, employers, and partners to share program information.
• Follow established processes for career readiness, internships, and apprenticeship operations.
• Coordinate career readiness pathways including internships and apprenticeships with academic programs.
• Escalate complex issues to leadership and support resolution of routine program issues.
• Monitor participation and outcomes to support quality assurance and improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Development, Business, Human Resources, Education, Administration, or related field
