Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Care Communications Executive to partner with leading healthcare providers and leverage our clinical IT and communications portfolio to improve patient outcomes. You will target accounts, drive system-wide software solutions, and influence care delivery through strategic selling.

In this role, you will build credibility with executives, develop territory plans, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including pricing strategies and contracting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare, medical device, or software sales at hospital/system level
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Strong digital and software solutions sales experience
• CRM and funnel management experience
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Use health economics data to develop territory business plans to meet/exceed sales goals
• Gain trust with customers and partners
• Source and drive new business by expanding untapped customers and growing installed base for Baxter Care Communications solutions
• Deliver presentations that promote the value of Baxter solutions and tie products to outcomes
• Engage with C-suite executives to secure meetings and drive business
• Independently identify hospital- or system-wide opportunities
• Coordinate quoting and proposals, manage discounts to protect margins
• Understand and navigate customers' contracting processes with Baxter resources
• Forecast and manage opportunities in Salesforce with next steps and deal sizes
• Stay updated on healthcare trends and economics to grow knowledge
• Articulate economic and clinical benefits and connect products to customer needs
• Explain Baxter processes to customers during sales conversations
• Negotiate and close deals with key buying influencers including C-suite
