Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Transformation Project Manager within Operations Transformation to lead cost, schedule, and documentation on Strategic Capital Projects. You will drive delivery, manage risks, and report to the Project Director.

You will identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and cycle time, mentor teams on Business Excellence tools, and collaborate with sponsors and Kaizen leaders, while building strong internal and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, Operations or Business Management.
• LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates analysis of opportunities and risks and recommends actions.
• Leads stakeholder management and aligns project direction.
• Executes LSS project management processes, tools, and templates.
• Identifies cost savings and cycle-time reductions through improvement.
• Provides training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders.
