Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Capital Planning Lead within the Central Enablement & Integration team. The role concentrates on front-end financial and capital allocation authority across Americas and Bay Area portfolios, aligning annual spend targets with project intake and ROM cost models.

You will collaborate with Client Capital Planning leads and Project Executives to drive timely capital planning through standardized tools and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or Real Estate Economics.
• 8 to 12+ years in corporate real estate capital planning, construction cost estimating, or portfolio finance.
• Experience managing $100M+ spend across large real estate portfolios.
• Familiarity with ROM cost modeling, depreciation bucketing, and risk governance.
• Partner with Finance, delivery teams, and executives on capital planning decisions.
• SOX-aligned accrual processes and variance reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating continuous capital planning intake across sub-regions and maintaining budgets.
• Establishing annual capital baselines and reviewing multi-year plans with executives.
• Leading project intake reviews to generate ROM cost models prior to architect engagement.
• Maintaining centralized budget trackers and monitoring spend vs. baseline across regions.
• Reviewing contingency reserves and managing give-backs without surprising drops.
• Auditing cost centers, WBS structures, and property financial attributes.
• Bridge between Enablement, Finance and regional delivery to promote standard tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or Real Estate Economics
