Job summary

UC ANR in Oakland, CA is seeking a Manager of Capital Planning and Budget to oversee all capital program funding, develop long‑range plans, and coordinate financing across departments. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training in education accounting, business administration, project construction administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital program funding, assess funding needs, identify sources, and create materials for access to funds.
• Develop and monitor the capital planning process and budgets across units.
• Produce and report metrics for capital plan implementation and status.
• Coordinate debt capacity, budgets, and funding strategies with FPM, Financial Services, and UCOP.
• Lead and coordinate capital project financing and governance with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies and reporting requirements in a complex university setting.
