Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Sr. Staff Strategic Capacity PM to own long-term capacity gap identification, propose solutions, and lead initiatives to solve capacity constraints.

You will develop integrated demand/capacity models and maintain site-level capacity profiles to support surge planning and ramp readiness. The role requires strong quantitative modeling, semiconductor supply chain knowledge, and program management experience to deliver capacity availability at scale and align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain planning, or operations strategy.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication and supply chain with Program Management leadership experience.
• Experience identifying systemic bottlenecks, leading data-driven root cause analysis, and driving solutions across engineering, manufacturing, supplier and planning teams.
• Advanced analytical and modeling skills (Excel, VCO, AI Optimization, SQL, Python, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term demand/capacity models across product lines and planning horizons.
• Create supply chain capacity profiles across sites and constraints.
• Identify structural capacity constraints early and define mitigation paths.
• Lead constraint engineering to resolve systemic bottlenecks before ramp.
• Manage constraint resolution programs from detection to closure across cross-functional teams.
• Feed fixes into DFM, capacity planning, and supplier readiness roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement in modeling methods and planning tools.
