Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• At least twelve years of combined experience in fire, life safety, and emergency management.
• NFPA Fire Inspector I and Fire Inspector/Plans Examiner certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Campus Fire Marshal and Local AHJ for fire and life safety.
• Direct fire prevention, inspection, and code enforcement programs.
• Review constructions plans for fire safety and ensure NFPA/ICC code compliance.
• Oversee fire protection systems, life safety risk assessments, and investigations.
• Lead Emergency Management Program and coordinate EOC and exercises.
• Represent the institution with local, state, and federal partners.
