Job summary

Murmuration seeks an Organizing Strategist to join our Campaigns Team. Reporting to the Senior Organizing Strategy Director, you will work with partner organizations to plan and run effective campaigns across the country.

Day to day, you’ll manage partner relationships, deliver trainings, optimize organizing systems, and ensure research informs campaign tactics. A practitioner at heart who can think strategically will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in organizing, advocacy, electoral, civic engagement, or campaign-related work.
• Demonstrated experience supporting campaigns and/or community-based programs from planning through execution.
• Strong project management skills with multiple workstreams and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience working with external partners in a support capacity.
• Experience facilitating trainings or support sessions for practitioners with varying skill levels.
• Familiarity with organizing tools, voter file platforms, canvassing apps, or related campaign technology.
• Familiarity with data-informed campaign strategy and using research to improve voter engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support partner organizations in planning and implementing voter participation and advocacy campaigns.
• Design and deliver trainings, tools, and guidance for partner staff on campaign planning and organizing.
• Help partners build and maintain strong organizing infrastructure and engagement systems.
• Translate research and impact learnings into practical recommendations for partner strategy.
• Coordinate with campaign vendors and internal teams to ensure integrated support for partners.
• Support in-person and virtual convenings, trainings, and partner-facing events.
• Track campaign progress, surface risks and opportunities, and ensure follow-through across partners.
• Document partner needs and lessons to strengthen Murmuration's practice.
