Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture field, or other business degree.
• 2+ years experience in commodities merchandising, grain trading, agricultural sales, procurement, or related role.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing strategies, and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Sell the wheat middlings and second clear flour.
• Manage a specific long/short trading position using outside markets as well as futures contracts.
• Work closely with the flour sales team to obtain price objectives.
• Maintain and grow the customer base.
• Work with the operations and transportation teams to ensure objectives.
• Negotiate and manage sales and purchase contracts.
