Job summary

Safe Fleet is seeking a Buyer to drive purchasing activities, manage supplier relations, and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data to support demand, cost control, and on-time delivery. You will handle PO input, supplier negotiations, and RFQ/RFP processes.

The role emphasizes maintaining inventory levels, reviewing invoices for payments, and collaborating with QA on supplier issues while ensuring ethics and professionalism in all supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sourcing, supply chain, or NPI support.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze data from Salesforce, PLM, and ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Capacity to work independently under pressure with multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented with collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests and manage orders with suppliers.
• Monitor material requirements and maintain ERP/MRP data.
• Issue RFQ/RFPs and select best sources.
• Maintain supplier relationships with professionalism and ethics.
• Resolve issues with over-shipments, shortages, and price changes.
• Coordinate with QA on supplier non-conformances.
• Authorize payments after reviewing invoices.
• Keep stock codes and supplier data accurate in ERP.
• Perform other duties as required.
