Job summary

HR HealthCare is a fast-growing, family-owned medical device manufacturer seeking a motivated Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This role focuses on material planning, PO management, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing to support production schedules and minimize costs.

You will coordinate with Production Planning, Inventory Control, Quality, and Finance to resolve supply-related issues and ensure on-time material availability. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in SCM/Business/Operations preferred.
• 1+ years purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply-chain experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Material planning and inventory management to ensure material availability.
• Create, issue, maintain, and adjust purchase orders in ERP.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Support negotiations on pricing, terms, lead times and service levels.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate supplier data and purchasing records in ERP.
• Assist with new-product introductions and supplier transitions.
