Job summary

Neptune Technology Group is hiring a Buyer/Planner in the Purchasing Department to coordinate planning and procurement of materials for production. You will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and manage orders with limited direction while supporting manufacturing operations.

The role requires a BS in Business or Supply Chain Management and at least four years of purchasing, inventory control, and ERP experience. On-site position based in Tallassee, AL.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Business or SCM.
• Experience: 4+ years in purchasing, inventory control, and ERP.
• Skills: Proficiency in oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Procure inventory, supplies, and capital goods for production.
• Schedule delivery of parts using forecast and ERP system.
• Maintain records to ensure budget alignment and on-schedule purchases.
• Develop and evaluate supply sources; issue RFQs, proposals, or bids.
• Serve as liaison to vendors and suppliers.
