Job summary

Neptune Technology Group is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to drive procurement and material planning for production in our Kentucky facility. You will work with multiple departments, manage inventories, and support manufacturing with timely purchasing of parts and supplies.

Responsibilities include forecasting needs, scheduling deliveries via the ERP system, maintaining records, and developing supplier sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• 6+ years of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Control, and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in oral and written communications.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Procure inventory and capital goods for production.
• Use forecast data and ERP planning to schedule deliveries.
• Maintain records to keep purchases on budget and schedule.
• Develop supplier sources and issue RFQs or bids.
• Serve as liaison to vendors and suppliers.
