Job summary

Suja Life LLC is seeking a Buyer Planner to oversee end-to-end purchasing and inventory management for direct spend on packaging and dry ingredients. The role collaborates with Production, Operations, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure material availability while maintaining lean inventories.

The position requires 3+ years in procurement and supply chain, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and knowledge of NetSuite ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply chain and manufacturing is required.
• CPG experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage replenishment orders/inventory of boxes, bottles, caps, labels and dry ingredients to support production.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Manage current supplier relationships to ensure reliable and steadfast working partnerships and an effective/efficient communication flow.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Warehouse teams to proactively identify and resolve material availability issues.
• Monitor supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and service through weekly analysis of open inbound orders and supplier commitments.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm shipment status, resolve delivery issues, address performance concerns, and support continuity of supply.
• Coordinate inventory movements between vendor and 3PL warehouses
• Manage packaging and dry ingredient KPIs to track performance, inventory health, and support continuous improvement.
• Manage MRP outputs in excel/ERP system to support material planning, purchasing decisions, and inventory accuracy.
