Legrand is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join the Integrated AV division in Warsaw, IN. The role involves daily planning and purchasing activities, analyzing MRP data, and collaborating with vendors to ensure material availability and optimal lead times.

Based in Warsaw, IN, the position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex procurement tasks, maintain ERP data, and identify cost-reduction opportunities while working with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with at least 2 years in purchasing in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience with MRP-based systems and ERP tools
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage supplier relationships

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize material procurement, warehousing, and distribution; manage material flow
• Place purchase orders to support manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Update pricing and maintain accurate ERP data
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and qualify new vendors
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite or adjust orders as needed
