Legrand, North America has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer/Planner to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The role entails analyzing forecasts, coordinating changes, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure effective inventory management.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Business or Operations Management, has at least two years of experience in manufacturing, and possesses strong organizational skills. APICS certification is a plus. A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing operation.
• An APICS certification of CPIM and/or CPM certification is desired.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with various software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze finished item forecasts and coordinate changes with marketing.
• Use planning tools to set inventory targets and deliver releases.
• Manage orders for non-stocked items and monitor supplier deliveries.
