BOX Partners is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage working capital through inventory optimization and hands-on purchasing across multiple locations. The role supports inventory best practices in growing distribution and production operations, collaborating with the Inventory Purchasing Manager to satisfy internal stakeholders and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear communication.
• Working knowledge of distribution, transportation, and supply‑chain processes.
• Experience expediting priority orders and resolving vendor and logistics issues.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and accounting on inventory administration.
• Maintain and build relationships with vendors and distribution management.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Specialists and Category Management to address vendor changes and product additions.
• Manage the purchase order lifecycle end-to-end.
• Coordinate flow of materials and products across departments within the organization.
• Handle purchasing for multiple locations and ensure correct inventory levels via procurement metrics.
• Follow up on late POs and update internal customers; resolve backorders and maintain items.
