Job summary

Parkson Corporation is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage strategic purchasing, scheduling, and procurement of parts for heavy equipment projects. Responsibilities include reviewing BOMs, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and BOM is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review Engineering Release Package including BOM for planning and procurement of parts and fabrication for projects.
• Issues and manages purchase orders with external vendors.
• Plan production scheduling activities and manage internal production orders and materials to fulfill orders.
• Coordinate supplier ship dates and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Develop sourcing plans and document cost savings activities.
