Job summary

Lithionics Battery in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Buyer/Planner to ensure materials flow and support production. You will own purchase orders, review MRP/ERP requirements, expedite materials, and collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, a Bachelor's in a related field, familiarity with ERP/MRP, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to build supplier relationships and

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own purchase orders and supplier commitments from release to delivery to support production requirements.
• Review MRP/ERP requirements and maintain material availability and inventory levels.
• Communicate forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery expectations to suppliers.
• Expedite critical materials and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Build relationships with suppliers and monitor performance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Support supplier negotiations involving pricing, terms, materials, and services.
• Identify qualified suppliers for assigned commodities and coordinate related purchasing activities.
• Resolve invoice, receiving, pricing, and material discrepancies.
• Respond quickly when production priorities or customer requirements change.
