Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Lindon, Utah is seeking a Buyer/Planner to drive production scheduling and materials planning. You will balance demand, inventory targets, supplier performance, and lead times to ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, Shipping, and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (APICS a plus), 3+ years scheduling experience in high-volume production, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred; APICS certification a plus.
• 3+ years scheduling/planning in a high-volume production environment.
• Prior ERP experience required.
• Strong analytical skills with MS Office; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Production scheduling process and optimize daily/weekly/monthly production to meet customer commitments.
• Coordinate with Plant Production, Shipping, and Sales to manage delivery dates and lead times.
• Communicate production delays and manage backorders and completion dates.
• Align capacity and throughput with order intake and product forecasting.
• Lead daily and weekly production/scheduling meetings and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Implement and maintain IFS ERP/MRP at plant level with IT support.
