Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing experience preferred.
• Basic analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft Excel to drive decisions.
• Understanding the basics of negotiations.
• Ability to respond to multiple needs and priorities through professional communication.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Experience in demand planning, purchasing, freight, or warehousing.
• Experience with e-mail such as Outlook and other Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Execute a queue of purchasing activity oriented by category, market, region, vendor or customer.
• Be the primary Bunzl representative to suppliers, aligning procurement with demand and plan.
• Communicate with peers to find new solutions across replenishment, operations, and inventory control.
• Deliver budgeted metrics and objectives for the assigned purchasing queue, including productivity, turns, and OTIF where applicable.
• Negotiate with suppliers on price, availability, lead time, and freight.
