Job summary

JCB North America in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to lead strategic sourcing and vendor management in a full-time, exempt role. You will collaborate with aftermarket and group purchasing to optimize pricing, lead times, and supplier relations, while ensuring compliance with international trade requirements and NPI processes for new product launches.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in strategic purchasing, proficient with SAP and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years in strategic purchasing experience.
Must pass drug screen, background check and pre-employment tests as required by law.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP for purchasing.
Experience with BOMs, engineering drawings and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

Work with assigned vendors for all aspects of purchasing functions
Work with Aftermarket Manager and Group Purchasing to support JCB Service - Includes pricing, lead times, MOQ’s, and key purchasing responsibilities
Negotiate NA domestic pricing and process price change requests
Create new schedule agreements
Investigate invoice issues and work with suppliers to resolve
Set up new vendors and extend part numbers in SAP
Process Techwebs as required
Process daily buyer worklist
Work with NPI team to ensure JCB Service is included in the process and ready for launch of new product
Process supersessions
Other duties as assigned
