Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, a Seattle-based contractor, seeks a Buyer to procure commodities, materials, equipment, and services that keep projects moving. Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers, balance price, quality, availability and delivery, and make purchasing decisions that support our growing business.

The role offers growth, ownership, and a chance to shape procurement processes within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of purchasing/procurement or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of the MEP industry and related products.
• Experience managing suppliers and balancing competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and own tasks from request to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop best-value purchasing solutions for MMFS.
• Build and maintain productive supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand and meet business needs.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers when appropriate.
• Ensure materials and services are delivered on time and to spec.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
