Job summary

Vermillion, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Buyer to support manufacturing operations by sourcing materials, supplies, services, and equipment and to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials availability and on-time delivery.

The buyer will initiate purchase orders, maintain purchasing and estimating records, assist with supplier management, and provide material estimates for planning.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 2+ years in purchasing/estimating, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/aircraft industry experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and Windows MS Office skills.
• Familiar with MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders for supplies, parts, services, and equipment
• Maintain purchasing and estimating records and vendor logs
• Support supplier relationships and ensure on-time delivery
• Provide material estimates for planning; manage multiple tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned
