• Vendor Management: Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, negotiate prices and terms.
• Tracking and Monitoring: Track purchases, monitor vendor quality and on-time delivery.
• Documentation: Complete required documentation for purchases.
• Communication: Manage supplier communication and coordinate shipping/receiving reports.
• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and satisfy customer needs.
• Inventory Reduction: Identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
