• Tracking: monitor purchases, vendor quality, on-time delivery; maintain vendor data.
• Documentation: complete required documentation.
• Communication: manage supplier communication and coordinate shipping/receiving reconciliation reports.
• Cost reduction: identify opportunities for cost reduction and meet customer needs.
• Inventory optimization: identify opportunities to reduce inventory levels.
