Job summary

Ideal candidates have 4-5 years in purchasing or supply chain, ERP/MRP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of purchasing, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain experience.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders.
• ERP/MRP system experience.
• Strong Excel and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between our Edgerton, MN and Sioux Falls, SD locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities and purchase orders from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Prevent material shortages and communicate supply risks early.
• Analyze inventory, usage trends, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Maintain purchasing and planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Drive continuous improvement through reporting, technology, automation, and AI tools.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Accounting to support business objectives.
