Broadata Communications, Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a hands-on Buyer to coordinate timely purchase orders and negotiate contracts for production materials. You will work with engineers and manufacturing personnel to support development and ensure schedules are met.

This on-site role emphasizes sourcing, supplier evaluation, and end-to-end procurement for internal projects, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, 1–2 years of experience
• or Associate’s degree, 3–4 years of relevant experience
• Certifications from Industry associations are a plus (C.P.M.)
• Experience in high-tech manufacturing/production environment a plus
• Understanding and hands-on experience with MRP systems such as SAGE, NetSuite or equivalent a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze orders, history, and records to identify best source
• Identify suppliers, research parts, equipment, and materials availability
• Prepare RFQs and issue purchase orders with approved suppliers
• Negotiate price, delivery, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve shipment quality discrepancies
• Advise on rescheduling and changes to delivery and supplier performance
• Maximize value of purchases balancing function, quality, and cost
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Handle special projects as assigned
