American Hydro is seeking a Buyer for our York, PA facility to manage sourcing, negotiate terms, and oversee supplier performance in a heavy manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, and finance to align with production schedules and long-term objectives.

The role requires strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills, plus experience with manufacturing processes and ERP systems such as Epicor. Travel is about 10%.

Formación

• Associates degree or Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in job shop or engineered-to-order environments is preferred.
• Heavy manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials, components, and services.
• Identify and qualify suppliers to meet technical and quality standards.
• Lead supplier negotiations focusing on cost reduction and long-term agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs like on-time delivery and cost.
