Job summary

Voith GmbH Group is looking for a Sr. Buyer to support its Hydro division in York, PA. The candidate will be responsible for procuring commodities for Voith Hydro North America, requiring strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 1 - 5 years of Purchasing or Supply Chain Management experience is preferred. Familiarity with SAP software and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The role may involve domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in Manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Identify and select qualified vendors based on business requirements.
• Develop purchasing specifications by analyzing complex technical data.
• Manage RFQs in the OTO and OTC phase of a project.
