Precision Products Group, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Buyer to manage sourcing and supplier performance for two manufacturing facilities, with growth to additional plants.

The role blends hands-on PO execution with strategic supplier management, cost analysis, and collaboration with engineering and operations. The position emphasizes reading supply markets, building supplier leverage, and developing sourcing strategies to drive value across direct materials and related indirect spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years procurement experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing supplier performance.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data in Excel.
• Experience working within an ERP/MRP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sourcing and purchasing for assigned categories at two plants, balancing cost, quality, lead time, and supply risk.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and performance; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain purchasing, forecasting, and inventory data in the ERP system to support planning.
