Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking a Buyer in California to assist with material procurement for dynamic custom projects. You will work with multiple internal teams to support supply chain activities and ensure timely availability of materials.

The role requires 3–5 years of purchasing experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAGE or MS Dynamics. This on-site position in Tustin offers growth within a dynamic regional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and pivot charts.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAGE or MS Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Solicits price quotes from suppliers.
• Generates POs.
• Monitors lead times, material availability, and WIP status across the supply chain.
• Coordinates with sales teams to fold sales trends and forecasts into demand planning and product run rates.
• Suggests inventory adjustments based on changes in demand, market trends, or supply variability.
• Manages inventory across multiple storage locations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing third-party vendors.
• All other duties as required.
