Job summary

Barings is seeking a Senior Business Manager to join the Office of the CEO in Charlotte, NC, providing dedicated business management support across the CFO and COO organizations. You will partner with senior leaders to shape priorities, evaluate financial implications, and ensure governance and follow-through on initiatives.

This senior individual contributor role requires strong business judgment, financial acumen, and the ability to influence without formal authority in a highly matrixed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in business management, corporate strategy, chief of staff, operations, financial services, asset management, or related leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen including budgets, forecasts, business cases, management reporting, and financial controls.
• Working knowledge of asset management products and the product lifecycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executive Business Management: partner with CFO/COO, drive priorities, manage meeting cadence and governance.
• Strategic Execution: translate strategies into milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes.
• Business Performance and Financial Discipline: support planning, headcount, and spend alignment with priorities.
• Operating Cadence and Governance: manage leadership rhythms, dashboards, and decision discipline.
