Job summary

Cummings Electrical is seeking a Business Improvement Solutions (BIS) Consultant to partner with teams across the company to solve business problems, improve performance, and turn strategy into action.

This mid to senior-level role will independently lead consulting workstreams, structure complex or unclear challenges, analyze information, develop recommendations, and work with stakeholders to implement practical solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of consulting, advisory, strategy, transformation or related professional services experience.
• Experience leading client-facing or internal consulting workstreams.
• Experience solving complex or ambiguous business problems.
• Experience translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing presentations, roadmaps, or decision-support materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements and workstreams from discovery through implementation.
• Define problems, goals, scope, and outcomes with leaders and employees.
• Gather and analyze business, operational, financial, and performance data.
• Turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Develop roadmaps, future-state approaches, and implementation plans.
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, operating models, data, automation, or tech.
