Job summary

Sherex is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive new business and strengthen relationships with customers in our fastener division. The role blends technical application knowledge with strategic account management in a manufacturing environment.

You will visit customer facilities, present business cases, develop annual sales plans, and identify new applications. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in fasteners are preferred; MS Office and JDE experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of fastener experience in technical sales or support.
• Knowledge of cold forming or stamping manufacturing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Top-level selling capability.
• Detail oriented and proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Implements and develops strategies by visiting customer engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing locations.
• Identifies and builds relationships with high-level customer decision makers.
• Leads sales presentations containing business cases, including technical applications.
• Establish annual sales plan.
• Identifies new opportunities for new applications, new product development, and innovation.
• Performs safety requirements to avoid injuries.
