Celigo is seeking a Strategic Business Development Director to establish partnerships with hyperscalers and major SaaS vendors. We’re seeking a Strategic Business Development Director to establish and grow partnerships with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and major SaaS vendors (Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, ServiceNow, etc.). This role is highly strategic, focused on increasing brand presence, influencing revenue, and fostering long-term partnerships rather than direct revenue generation.
Youll work closely with PE/VC firms, ISVs, and enterprise partners to develop meaningful relationships that enhance our market positioning. The role involves crafting strategic initiatives, hosting webinars, and driving co-marketing efforts to expand our ecosystem.
What would you do, if hired?
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and leading SaaS vendors.
• Build relationships with PE/VC firms to drive direct referrals and influence deals.
• Identify and manage a long tail of ISV partners to maximize business impact.
• Establish and execute co-marketing initiatives (e.g., joint webinars, thought leadership).
• Define and track key success metrics such as revenue influence, deal referrals, and strategic objectives.
• Act as a thought leader, identifying new partnership opportunities that align with our business goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
• Strategic thinker who understands the SaaS ecosystem and can connect the dots between technology partnerships and business outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building skills with executive leaders at hyperscalers, SaaS vendors, and PE/VC firms.
• Background in business development, partnerships, or investment/analyst roles at an investment firm, SaaS company, or consulting firm.
• Ability to navigate complex partnership dynamics and drive long-term value without relying solely on direct revenue generation.
• Experience in structuring high-impact alliances and go-to-market partnerships.
• Comfort with ambiguity—able to define the function from the ground up and evolve it over time.
Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $230,000 and $260,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
