Google seeks a Business and Marketing Data Scientist in Seattle, WA to translate business goals into tractable analytical questions and roadmaps. You will drive project outcomes by delivering analytical solutions and troubleshooting expertise.

You will build models and processes, applying statistical and optimization methods, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of experience framing business problems into quantitative problems; applying statistical/optimization methods; data extraction and cleaning; Python or R for analysis; presenting data-driven solutions to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into analytical questions and roadmaps.
• Provide analytical solution strategy and troubleshooting to drive project outcomes.
• Develop multiple approaches to reach optimal solutions, owning the process end-to-end.
• Build new models, tests, and processes to address future business problems.
• Act as SME for analytics within domains like marketing analytics or forecasting.
