Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Business Analyst to analyze the needs of functional areas and document system requirements. You will act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring that requested changes are clearly defined, communicated, and validated.

You will work with IT teams and vendors to design, document, and test solutions that meet business needs. Qualifications include 2–4 years in a business or technical analysis role, experience with SQL for data analysis, and a BA or PMI-PBA

Qualifications

• Experience using SQL for data analysis.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders.
• Experience documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate system enhancement requests and coordinate release schedules with product owners and stakeholders.
• Collect and document functional requirements from business stakeholders using elicitation techniques.
• Analyze feasibility and impact for proposed projects.
• Document user requirements and specifications with development teams.
• Support QA and validation through data analysis and pre/post-implementation reviews.
• Assist testing groups and provide status reporting and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.
