Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field required.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; direct supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall budget development and financial planning per university strategy.
• Conducts financial analysis, multi-fund forecasting, and monthly performance tracking.
• Leads the university’s shared services framework for business managers and unit leaders.
• Drives transition from legacy spreadsheets to Banner budget module and related tools.
• Develops a three- to five-year financial planning model with leadership input.
• Serves as liaison to UNC system office and OSBM for policy guidance and compliance.
• Oversees position management and participates in Vacancy Review Committee.
• Provides leadership and development for a four-person budget team.
