Job summary

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, statistics, or similar from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Knowledge of administration with emphasis on fiscal management, GAAP/GAAS, and auditing standards.
• Familiarity with computerized accounting software and purchasing policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise administrative services, including budgeting and expenditure approvals.
• Oversee reconciliations of the state's accounting system and manage purchasing and capital assets inventory.
• Administer cooperative agreements and develop guidelines for program development and financial policy.
