Job summary

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads the National Intelligence Program budget development and presentation to the President and Congress. This GS-15 excused service position is open to the public and current federal employees at GS-15 and one level below, with eligibility constraints for lower grades.

The role requires expert planning, budgeting, justification, and financial analysis, with strong written and oral communication skills to brief senior leadership and address

Qualifications

• Expert ability to plan, prepare, justify, administer, analyze, forecast, and monitor budget/financial information.
• Superior ability to serve as expert and consultant to top agency management officials and customers.
• Superior ability to make decisions and recommendations addressing undefined issues.
• Expert knowledge of Federal/IC budget and financial management laws, regulations, and guidance.

Responsibilities
