Job summary

Reporting to the University Budget Director, you will partner with FSS and HR to manage financial operations and develop data-driven insights for fiscal health and long-term goals. Strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field.
• Experience in development, analysis, and execution of complex budgets and long-range business/fiscal management plans.
• Ability to present budget and fiscal data clearly to a broad group of constituents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership for the unit, managing and advising millions in resources from multiple funding sources.
• Forecast, plan, and oversee the development of annual and long-range budgets, including internal budget models, revenue projections, and expenditure plans.
• Work with unit heads to ensure compliance with the budget plan and communicate variances for timely action.
• Collaborate with department directors, FSS, and HR partners to align staffing needs with financial resources.
