Job summary

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is seeking a Budget Finance Officer to lead budget planning, development, and financial analysis for multiple programs. You will forecast expenditures and revenues, prepare reports for external funders, and ensure accurate financial reporting and integrity across systems.

Qualified candidates will have a BA in a related field and at least five years of senior budget or accounting experience in nonprofit or public settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior budget, accounting, or auditing experience in nonprofit or public entities.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, and local regulations and funder requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining cost allocation models and supporting ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget planning, development, and administration for assigned departments, programs, grants, and projects.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting of expenditures and revenues, and reporting to funders, auditors, and regulators.
• Ensure financial integrity and alignment across budgeting, purchasing, banking, and position control systems.
